Like its cousin from the Teal family, Teal and Black, Peter Ross is of English descent. Undoubtedly one of the most popular and effective trout fly in Iceland.
It has been mostly used for Arctic Char, both local and sea run. For some reason, it has been less associated with brown trout and sea run trout throughout the years, but those that have sneaked it under where hoping for trout have good catch, just ike Arctic Char.
The colors on this fly are pretty traditional for a trout fly, reminding a lot of Watson’s Fancy and other fancy flies.
