A firm favourite for many anglers and still allowed on many rivers and an essential in Iceland, this micro treble is an excellent pattern to pull out when the water is low and other patterns are failing to raise any interest. Best fished on light tackle.
The Undertaker was created by Warren Duncan in 1979, the Undertaker has become a staple in the fly boxes of Icelandic salmon fishermen. It is a great allrounder “black fly” – which has just the perfect dash of detail to accompany its dark silhouette.
This is a sure choice for in most rivers in Iceland and a perfect late summer fly.
